Ms. Laurie Dennis has given an intensive discourse on the role of creativity in Value Management.
Creativity analysis aims at exploring the functions of the project in the function analysis phase and expanding the possibilities and potential solutions in the creative phase. Diverse creativity techniques have been introduced in this workshop, such as the brainstorming techniques, reversal technique, SCAMPER technique, force field diagram, mind mapping techniques and so on. During this workshop, the participants were also given chances to practice the creativity techniques in various exercises.

Ms. Laurie Dennis is a president of the RH & Associates, Inc. She was also a past President of SAVE International and a current director of the SAVE Certification Board (CVS qualification) and a qualified facilitator on the Transportation Improvement Board.




Dr. Mei-yung LEUNG
(BSc(Hons), BRS, PhD, MCIOB, MRICS, MHKIS, CVS, MHKIVM)

Dr. Leung has more than fifteen years of practical /teaching experience in the construction industry /education and has participated in a number of prestigious construction projects in Hong Kong. Dr. Leung is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in the RICS in the UK and the HKIS in HK and a Chartered Builder in the CIOB in the UK and AIB in Australia. Currently, she is a vice president of the HKIVM, a Qualified Facilitator for facilitating governmental ‘VM workshop' in HK and a Certified Value Specialist for VM workshops recognized by the SAVE in USA.
