Workshop 7: Key VM phase: Evaluation Analysis
Evaluation is one of the key techniques and is the central activity in Value Management (VM). The aim of evaluation is to determine or estimate the value of issues. It occurs at many stages and takes different forms within a value study. During the workshop, Mr. Scott has introduced and gone into details the various key contextual factors towards evaluations, including different decision models, assumptions of rationality, intuition and the adaptive unconscious, monetary assumptions and measurement rigour, impact of culture, personal preferences, importance of teams, types of evaluation in the value creation process, the impact of time horizon, the politics and so on. The participants were also able to get involved in exercises and case studies in which they can have more and deeper understanding on evaluation in VM. Co-facilitatorsMr. Ken Scott Ken
